At Friendship Presbyterian Church, we share a ministry that is quite unique in the Clarke and Oconee County communities. Unlike many other congregations, we strongly hold the position that we read and interpret the Bible in the context of our relationship to God in Christ as people who live in the 21st Century, not the 1st.

What this means is that we seek to understand the Truth of Scripture, as God’s Word, while maintaining a 21st Century world view. We find that employing the facts of modern science makes stronger our ability to understand, interpret, and apply the Truth of Scripture to our lives as modern people.

The Friendship Presbyterian Church Family wants to help you develop a deeper, richer understand of Scripture and a deeper, more rewarding relationship to God in Christ. We want to share a journey of faith with you that will help you understand the ancient traditions and writings of the Christian faith as a person who lives in the modern world.
