Green Acres Baptist Church

Green Acres Baptist Church is a diverse, growing fellowship of believers that exists to glorify God by impacting Athens, Georgia, and the world by leading individuals to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We offer worship opportunities and Bible studies for all ages and levels of Christian growth. In addition to our English speaking congregation, we also host Hispanic, Chinese, and Vietnamese congregations. Please check out our website or contact the church office for more information.

Special Ministries:

• GAP: Green Acres Playgroup is a ministry to moms and kids that meets each Thursday morning. Check the GABC webpage for their latest activities.

• AWANA Clubs meet at GABC each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. This age-graded ministry is for boys and girls from three years old through sixth grade. Each club night includes worship, unique games, and Bible memory work.

• Weekday Preschool (ages 1-4 years) is offered during the school year. For registration information, please call the church office.

• The POINT meets at GABC twice each month at 9:00 pm. This ministry is a gathering of students and young singles from across the Athens area. For more information check out the webpage at www.thepointathens.com.
