Chapel Christian Church, chartered in 1860, has been faithfully serving our God, families, and community since that time. Chapel is an old church with new beginnings.

Our church mission statement is “To live by the Word, creating an atmosphere of love and fellowship and work for the ministry of winning souls for Jesus Christ through our discipleship.” We believe in “No Creed but Christ” because we value each person’s right and duty to interpret the Bible individually. Therefore, we impose no doctrinal statement or creed other than that of Peter: “Thou are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

We are not the only Christians, but Christians only. We practice baptism by immersion and take the Lord’s Supper every Sunday with the table open to all believers. We own our own property and govern our own affairs. The public is invited to come join us as we minister and worship our Lord Jesus Christ. You will be welcomed warmly and ministered to as you have need.
